The Winter Songwriter Series continues with the second of this three-part Friday Night Sessions lineup—an intimate evening of original music, shared stories, and rotating performances. This songwriter-in-the-round format brings three artists together on one stage, each taking turns performing and offering insight into their songs.
January 30 features a thoughtful mix of emerging and established voices, each bringing their own perspective to the night.
Beckett Gloor is a 15-year-old Ontario-based artist whose songwriting and musicianship are already drawing attention. A multi-award-winning vocalist and guitarist with over seven years of experience, Beckett has been writing and producing music since the age of 11. His work blends country-folk influences with reflective lyricism. His newest single, Modern Day Apocalypse, explores darker themes through storytelling rather than personal experience. Outside of music, Beckett has served as a legislative provincial page at Queen’s Park and continues to build his audience through behind-the-scenes content and short-form storytelling across social platforms.
Steph Maloney, hailing from Milverton, Ontario, brings a grounded and story-driven approach to her songwriting. Known for creating an easy connection with audiences, Steph writes songs rooted in honesty and lived experience. She has twice performed at Nashville’s iconic Bluebird Café, reflecting her dedication to her craft and her growing presence as a songwriter.
Rounding out the evening is Jesse Webber. Jesse is an independent songwriter steadily expanding his solo catalogue through consistent releases on Bandcamp and major streaming platforms. His past involvement in multiple bands reflects a wide range of musical styles and performance experience, as he continues to focus on regular releases and live performance while building his solo presence.
