Join us at The Bunker Performance Lounge & Cafe for a Saturday Night Live show with Dale Morningstar — performer, producer, engineer, and one of the quiet forces behind decades of Canadian independent music.
Dale is the owner/operator and producer/engineer of the legendary Gas Station Recording Studio on Toronto Island. Over a 30+ year career, he has recorded hundreds of artists across genres, including Gord Downie, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Julie Doiron, Thrush Hermit, The Inbreds, Neko Case, and many more.
A multi-instrumentalist and vocalist with a focus on guitar, Dale is also a founding member of the noise art-rock band The Dinner Is Ruined, releasing nine albums and touring across Canada, the U.S., Europe, and even Mali, West Africa. He has opened for acts like Sonic Youth and Beck, and has performed at iconic venues including Massey Hall.
In addition to his own projects, Dale has toured as a member of Gord Downie and the Country of Miracles, contributed to film and dance scores, sessions, soundtracks, the National Parks Project, and countless collaborations.

With limited seating, we kindly ask all ticket holders to arrive no later than 15 minutes before showtime to ensure your spot. Reserved seating may be released 15 minutes after the show begins. If seats are no longer available, refunds may be issued in person. Please note: no refunds are issued for no-shows.
