York Street Thought Process is a folk duo from Ontario, blending rich storytelling and improvisation into their performances. Jaron Camp and Rachael Frankruyter’s chemistry on stage and their playful approach to songwriting have earned them recognition from Exclaim!, CBC, and Stingray. Their sophomore album Colder charted on CHRW and led to a successful 2024 tour across Ontario. The duo continues to expand their reach, with upcoming performances at the Mariposa Folk Festival and Winnipeg Folk Festival as part of the Young Performer’s Program.
Opening the night is Nora Joy, a 15-year-old singer-songwriter from Stratford who’s already making waves across the province. With uplifting pop-folk songs that balance honesty and optimism, Nora’s music has been featured in the Hamilton Spectator, Stratford Times, and St. Marys Independent. She’s performed alongside Ron Sexsmith and is currently preparing for her debut album, set to release in early 2026.
