Description

Immerse yourself in a soul, spirit ,soul and culture-enriched Candlelight Private Screening experience, a fresh new take on "The Color Purple," highlighting the film's powerful exploration of faith, hope, and resilience. Witness the impactful portrayal of sisterhood, community bonds, and the transformative journey of the rewriting one's story, tackling issues of abuse and racism while discovering inner strength and self-awareness.

If it takes a village to raise a child, it also takes that same village to be a voice of change for generations, breaking the silence of family violence—a responsibility we all share.

Beyond a screening this is a community event, celebrating culture, diversity and raising awareness on the importance of men and women uniting to break the silence and shine a light on the impact of family and domestic violence  in First Nations and Multicultural Communities.

Surrounded by the warm glow of candlelight and soulful melodies, we're creating a safe space where unity fosters faith, hope, and resilience.
