The Complaint Department is a BIPOC Improv team that takes a minor complaint from the audience and creates an entire world around it. - sometimes multiple worlds! The audience will be immersed in various scenes and fleshed-out characters. Every show is different, every show is unique.

What If Theatre is dedicated to the art of improvisational theatre - which is a fancy way of saying, we do improvised plays. Not everything we do is funny. We aim for authenticity, but the truth comes first. The funny thing is, that usually means that humor is close on its heels.

We feature a variety of improv from the Denver area in addition to performing our own acts - and we welcome storytelling, magic, sketch, and other acts on our stage. We also feature local artists on our walls. Come check out our space! You will find it homey and warm, with the comfiest seats in Denver performing arts!
