Summoned by popular demand, New Orleans’ only ALL FRONTWOMEN supergroup returns to the stage for a new night of ritual magic, harmonic community healing, and face-melting rock’n’soul. The Coven’s first appearance since their sold-old Jazzfest 2024 Ritual, this Broadside debut marks the harmony heavy group’s first-ever moonlit sabbath under the light of October’s full Hunter’s Moon.
The Coven pulls music’s most legendary rock, soul, and funk hits written by, for, or about witchery in all its forms, awakening congregants to matriarchal magick and rituals hiding in plain sight on radios and streaming playlists globally. Previous shows have offered up practitioners like Dr. John, Koko Taylor, Black Sabbath, Annie Lennox, David Bowie, Amy Winehouse, and Janis Joplin, all of whom would have been burned at the stake a century ago. Each new ritual’s set list is a closely guarded secret. No ritual is ever repeated.
The Coven’s Full Moon Ritual stars a who’s who of New Orleans’ femme vocalists, including:
Debbie Davis
Arsene DeLay
Kimberly Kaye
Mia Borders
Miss Sophie Lee
Lilli Lewis
Dayna Kurtz
Bunny Love
Priestess Tiffany Monique
All backed by the finest hell hounds in Third Coast rock, Some Men Playing Instruments:
Alex McMurray
Eric Bolivar
Rurik Nunan
Stephen Bohnstengel
Jonathan Pretus
Keiko Komaki
The Full Moon Ritual includes authentic priestess-led blessings, local vendors selling witchy wares, and a communal honoring of our beloved ancestors gone before. Celestial costuming and/or coven-appropriate attire strongly encouraged but never mandatory. Bring folding money for the offering plate, and the names of loved ones lost you wish to have honored in the group blessing. So mote it be.
