The Dinner Party at Windy Station

 

An outdoor, dinner party experience featuring guest chefs from Atticus Hospitality (Tequila Mockingbird, Paddington; Esteban, Sydney; and Casa Esquina, Balmain). 

 

Over two special events:

Saturday 3 May, 2025 from 5pm
Sunday 4 May, 2025 from 12pm

 

Join us for a journey through Latin America, enjoying a world-class hospitality experience on the Liverpool Plains. The Dinner Party at Windy Station is for those looking for an experience that’ll stay with them long after they exit our gates, showcasing regional produce and landscapes, story-telling and connection through conversation.

Ticketing:

$275 per person, includes:

  • A signature Tequila Mockingbird cocktail and four-course, Latin American menu showcasing great Australian produce cooked over fire by Atticus Hospitality’s renowned chefs, with entertainment by Fiesta Viva, Mariachi band.
  • Return bus transfers from pick-up points in Tamworth, Quirindi and Willow Tree
  • An immersive and behind-the-scenes Windy Station food and fibre walking tour experience including a meet-and-greet with Windy Station Manager, David Lee and Agronomist, Pete McKenzie in the crop, one-of-a-kind dining location and internal property bus transfers.
  • A voucher for one to experience The Back Paddock farm tour - Windy Station’s newest agritourism offering (T&Cs apply). 

Tom Egan will be on hand at The Dinner Party with hand selected wines from his Viticult range. The amazing team at Josephine’s Drinks will be keeping our guests hydrated at the cash bar, serving wines chosen to complement the menu, plus beers and Tequila Mockingbird margaritas. There will also be a selection of non-alcoholic drinks. Cash or card payments will be accepted.

Other accommodation options:

If you’d like to book your accommodation separately to your tickets, rooms have been held by Windy Station at Graze at the Willow Tree Inn and Henry’s, Quirindi. To book these, please call the provider and let them know you’ll be attending The Dinner Party at Windy Station. The room/s and any liability will be transferred into your name. 

Further accommodation options in line with bus transfers can also be found in Quirindi, Tamworth, Willow Tree, Werris Creek and Currabubula.

Q. Where do I enter my presale code?

A. After clicking “Buy Tickets”, click on “Have a promotional code?” and enter your presale code in before clicking “Apply”.

Q. Are children allowed to attend?

A. This is an adult only event, for those aged over 18 years. This event is not suitable for babies or children.

Q. Can I reserve a seat or sit with my friends?

A. We don’t have reserved seats at the table, however if you are a group of 10 or more we will do our best to accommodate your requests. In this case, please get in touch via admin@vcevents.com.au to submit your seating request. 

Q. Where can I stay?

A. You cannot stay onsite at the event, however there are a number of accommodation options in Quirindi, Willow Tree, Tamworth, Currabubula and Werris Creek with bus transfers available.

Q. What transport is available?

A. A bus ticket is included in your ticket purchase. Once you have purchased your ticket, a link will be shared with you to reserve your seat a little closer to the event date. Parking is also available onsite. The Dinner Party at Windy Station practices the Responsible Service of Alcohol. We want everyone to arrive home safely, so please be mindful of your alcohol consumption if you’re intending to drive. 

Q. Can I get a refund on my ticket if I can no longer attend?

A. We do not offer refunds on tickets if the purchaser can no longer attend, however you are welcome to transfer it to a friend. It does not matter if the ticket is in another person’s name.

Q. What if the event is cancelled?

A. Refunds will be offered to all ticket holders should the event be cancelled.

Q. Can I bring my pet?

A. No pets are allowed on the property at any time during the event.

Q. Can you cater to dietary requirements?

A. We cannot cater for extreme dietary requirements due to the nature of the event. Please provide details of any dietary requirements during the checkout process and we will do our best to accommodate, where possible.

Q. Is this an accessible event?

A. Due to uneven ground in the paddock, this event may not be suitable for those with mobility or accessibility needs. Please provide details of any accessibility requirements during the checkout process and we will do our best to accommodate, where possible. 

Q. What if bad weather is predicted?

A. We keep a close eye on the weather forecast before each of our events. If the weather is looking a little wet, we will still go ahead with a few minor changes – we have a wet weather plan in place which is a spectacle in itself.

 

Buses

Buses will run complimentary from the following locations on both Saturday and Sunday. Bus times and confirmations will be communicated closer to the event.

Bus 1: Tamworth - Currabubula - Werris Creek - Windy Station (Return)

Bus 2:  Willow Tree - Quirindi - Windy Station (Return)
