The Dreamer Express is a trackless passenger train that moves through downtown Kelowna, inviting people to slow down and see the city a little differently. The Love Train
Each guest is welcomed aboard the Love Train, a limited time Dreamer Express experience created exclusively for February. The train is seasonally styled in collaboration with Vintage Origami and paired with a curated playlist of classic love songs.
As the journey moves through downtown Kelowna, the experience naturally becomes part of the city around it, shaped by movement, music, and place.
Inspired by iconic love lock traditions from around the world, every ticket invites you into a collective expression formed by the memories and messages of those who ride. Along the route, the train pauses near the Kelowna Visitor Centre, where a seasonal installation becomes part of the story and each journey offers a moment to pause and consider what love means to you.
Route: Your journey begins at the north doors of the Delta Grand Okanagan, near the roundabout shared with the Royal Kelowna. From there, the Dreamer Express sets off on its familiar downtown route.
The train travels along the waterfront, passing the Kelowna Yacht Club and nearby waterfront restaurants, where riders often find themselves waving to people along the way. The route continues past the skating at Stuart Park, adding a lively, community feel to the journey.
Midway through the ride, the train pauses at the Kelowna Visitor Centre, where guests are invited to step off briefly to add their love lock to the seasonal installation. The journey then continues back along the same waterfront route, returning to the original departure point.
The full ride lasts approximately 20 minutes and is designed to feel smooth and unhurried, offering time to enjoy the movement of the city and a shared moment along the way.
