45 Kihapai StreetThe Elevations Hawai'i are a 9-piece vintage soul band, playing the original style before Motown. The sound is at the cusp of original R&B from the 50’s mixed with the Jazz and Gospel giving birth to Soul music. It is from here that the Elevations hope to make a difference, by making original music that is a more driving sound, more raw, more gritty, so real and honest.
The band consist of vocals – Kehaulani White, Cheyenne Takeuchi-Leong, Aiddy Weisbecker, Tenor Sax – Eric White, Trumpet – Rob Toyama, Guitar – Gilbert Batangan, Drums – Keli’i Wong, Bass – Rodney Drummer, Percussion – Carlos Betancourt
The Concert is at Cafe Kopi back lot on Saturday August 30. Doors open at 6:00 pm. Concert at 7:00 pm
General admission tickets are PICNIC STYLE - NO SEATS ARE PROVIDED (bring your own chairs!) GA tickets are $25 presale and $35 at the door. *General admission seats do not follow the seating chart. The rows and seat numbers only serve to keep track of the number of tickets sold. You may bring your own blankets and beach chairs and find your own spot anywhere in the parking lot behind the VIP tables. You are not limited to the general admission seating chart. Children under age 12 are free. A pet-friendly event (friendly pets are allowed).
VIP tickets include a seat at a table with preferred location. VIP seats are $35 presale and $45 at the door and are only sold on a by-table basis. VIP tables for 2 , 4, 5, and 6 are available. They have tables and chairs and will have tent coverage in case of rain. Additional seats are available at the door If you want to squeeze in extra seats at your table.
THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT. ALL TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE UNLESS THE PERFORMER CANCELS IN WHICH CASE WE WILL MAKE EVERY ATTEMPT TO FIRST RESCHEDULE THE EVENT. Food & Drinks will be available all evening. You may buy scripts which can be turned in for all kinds of food and drink including our special event pizzas, samosas, laksa, and other gastronomic delights.
