Begin your Wands & Wizards Weekend with a night of enchantment after checking in at the Visit Fairfield County Visitor Center (128 N. Broad Street) in downtown Lancaster. Pick up your Goodie Bag and Wands & Wizards Schedule of Events Program before starting your adventure.
Enjoy a spell-binding dinner (at a restaurant of your choice, use your food voucher), then dive into one of two magical evening events—A Fantasy Adventure at the Fairfield County District Library or An Evening at Mugworts at Mambourg Park.
Saturday brings even more magic in Fairfield County with fall traditions, furry friends, and fantastical surprises!

This package is based on two people sharing a hotel room. To add additional guests to your room, a voucher package is available for $30/person. This package includes the following vouchers: (1) $5 food & beverage, (1) L-City Coffee+ potion, (1) $10 Mystery Cauldron, (1) $10 shopping and/or workshop, PLUS a Wands & Wizards tote bag and magnet.

A Sample of Saturday Magic
Throughout the day, discover experiences as varied as a wizard’s spellbook. Get A Taste of the Markets at this special edition of the Lancaster Farmers Market, then step into a fully enchanted world at the Fairfield County District Library’s main branch, where dark magic has trapped a reader in the world of fantasy. Brave realms like Mordor, The Forbidden Forest, and the Court of the Red Queen as you navigate a self-led scavenger hunt, snap selfies at fantastical photo stations, and encounter costumed characters around every corner. Sink your teeth into something delectable from enchanted menus at local restaurants serving up themed bites and brews, and watch as businesses across the county transform into destinations brimming with whimsy. As with all Wands & Wizards events, costumes are encouraged—let your imagination guide you through the magic.
Destination Downtown Lancaster’s Fall Festival & Bark in the Park
- 12–5 pm in Zane Square, Downtown Lancaster
- FREE hayrides, live music, and local vendors
- Seasonal fun for all ages
- Bark in the Park Pet Costume Contest – bring your furry friends!
- Take a self-guided driving tour through Fairfield County communities

- Madam Mugg’s Magical Mercantile (aka Tracie Lynn’s Collection) will be wildly decorated for the weekend. Shop wands, hats, jewelry & enjoy creative photo ops.
- STUMP LANCASTER will be completely made over for Wands & Wizards Weekend. Guests can anticipate entering an enchanted forest wonderland of plant magic. It will truly be a magical place to spend some extra time for a unique experience. Workshops will be offered throughout the weekend for an additional fee. Registration is required.
