The End Of Oak Street

The End of Oak Street - an upcoming sci-fi survival thriller written and directed by David Robert Mitchell and produced by J.J. Abrams.   Set in the late 1970s or early 1980s, the film follows the Platt family-played by Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor-whose quiet lives are upended when a mysterious cosmic event physically rips their entire suburban neighborhood from the world they know and drops it into a prehistoric landscape. Transported to an unrecognizable, primal world, the family must stick together to survive the elements and the terrifying prehistoric creatures that surround them.
