How do we keep serving great food in an increasingly turbulent world?

Refreshments and a delicious, locally sourced, seasonal lunch provided.

About this event

The food system is changing rapidly. Climate shocks, rising costs, labour shortages and global instability are affecting every farm and food business. But given that the public sector spends £5 billion annually on food and drink, there are also opportunities to strengthen our food resilience.

Join colleagues shaping food across Sussex's schools, hospitals, universities, care homes and public institutions for a unique event exploring the future of public sector catering.

Through practical case studies, supplier showcases, networking and interactive discussion, we'll explore how local sourcing, seasonal menus and innovative procurement approaches can help organisations meet today's challenges while delivering better outcomes for people and planet.

Connect. Learn. Taste. Collaborate. Leave with ideas you can put into practice straight away.

If you influence what food is bought, served or commissioned, this event is for you.

Please let us know of any dietary requirements when you book.
