This year’s Stoop Stroll will have a gilded glow. In the summer of 2022, Heyday Productions, LLC chose Center Square and the surrounding neighborhoods to film portions of Season Two of The Gilded Age for HBO. We will commemorate this filming with unique outdoor only walking tours.
Guides will stop at spots within the neighborhood where scenes of The Gilded Age Season Two were filmed and share behind the scenes stories of what happened at each stop. Pictures of the actors in costume and the transformation of the facades will be on display. Last year we didn't discuss any scenes or storylines since the season had not aired yet. This year, on these tours we will be discussing specifics about scenes, plots and characters on the show. So make sure you watch season two of The Gilded Age first, because there may be spoilers for you!
No tickets will be mailed. Check-in at the tent at 235 Lark Street in front of Trinity Methodist Church 15 minutes prior to tour start. Tour duration is approximately one hour, covers eight city blocks, and it will be the end of June, so please wear comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for hot or damp weather. Rain date TBD.
Meet at 235 Lark St in front of Trinity Church a few minutes before your tour.
Please note: You do not have to register for the Stoop Stroll to buy tickets for a walking tour (but you can!).
Tour Times
Tour price is $15/person (until June 22, when the price goes up to $20/person). There is one tour every hour between 11 am and 4 pm. The maximum per tour is 16 people.
Tour #1 - 11 am
Tour #2 - 12 pm
Tour #3 - 1 pm
Tour #4 - 2 pm
Tour #5 - 3 pm
