The Greatest Love Of All

A Tribute to Whitney Houston starring Belinda Davids

Not associated with the Estate of Whitney Houston.

Whitney Houston’s musical legacy is brought to life in this critically acclaimed production described as “mind-blowingly spot on.”

This is a beautifully crafted celebration of one of the world’s most revered singers with the accompaniment of a live band, backing vocalists, state-of-the-art sound, lighting, vision and theatrical effects.

You’ll be stunned by the breathtaking vocals of Belinda Davids. She captures the hearts of all in attendance, even those who don’t claim to be Whitney fans.

The two-hour production will fill you with joy, nostalgia and wonderment as it takes you on a heartfelt journey through Whitney’s greatest hits including ‘I Will Always Love You’, ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’, ‘How Will I Know’, ‘One Moment in Time’, ‘I Have Nothing’, ‘Run to You’, ‘Didn’t We Almost Have It All’, ‘Greatest Love of All’, ‘I’m Every Woman’, ‘Queen of the Night’, ‘Exhale (Shoop Shoop)’, ‘Million Dollar Bill’ and more..

Belinda Davids started life in the small coastal town of Port Elizabeth in South Africa and she began performing professionally at just 14 years of age. Her early career took her to Los Angeles where she became a backup singer for important artists like Keri Hilson, Keyshia Cole and Monica.

In 2013 John Van Grinsven, creator and producer of Showtime Australia’s The Greatest Love Of All, was on his final round of global auditions to find a star for the new production. Belinda won the marquee role over almost 15,000 other hopefuls.

The show has been performed to sellout crowds across much of the globe including the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Germany, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Lithuania, Israel, Australia, New Zealand, UAE, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia and South Africa.

In 2017 Belinda’s profile reached new heights when she won the BBC’s “Even Better Than the Real Thing” TV talent competition hosted by Paddy McGuinness. Later that year she gave a rousing performance of ‘I Will Always Love You’ on Fox TV’s iconic talent competition, “Showtime at the Apollo,” hosted by Steve Harvey. Both performances continue to gather millions of views online.

In the UK in 2018, Belinda reached another milestone when she debuted a special orchestral concert series of The Greatest Love of All, accompanied by The National Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. This show was taken to some of the continent’s most iconic venues, including the Hammersmith Apollo.

During the Covid pandemic Belinda travelled, under strict quarantine regulations, to the UK to compete in “Britain’s Got Talent.”  She performed for the show’s first-ever virtual audience and progressed to the semi-finals.

In 2023, Belinda delighted the judges and audience on “Spain’s Got Talent” where she won the golden buzzer. Check it out here!

The Barnhill Center
Built-in 1925, in the grand architectural style of Beaux-Arts Classical Revival, the Simon Theatre provided a splendid setting for many theatrical performances, film screenings and ballroom dances. The James Simon family commissioned Houston architect Alfred C. Finn, whose career included designing a number of prominent Houston buildings as well as the San Jacinto Monument, to design the theatre for the community of Brenham. Today, after a meticulous million-plus dollar renovation, the glamour and grand style lives on for future generations in the newly named Barnhill Center at Historic Simon Theatre.
