Description

Blue Light Youth Activity Units operate in rural areas throughout Western Australia. They are a not-for-profit organisation established and managed by local Police Officers, who organise activities and social events for young people to have fun in a safe, supervised environment.

To celebrate the end of another school term, Dongara Police are excited to be hosting "The Hang Out".

Attendees will be divided into teams and compete across three tournaments. Nerf, Dodgeball and Mario Kart with plenty of music & dance in between.

NERF:

This isn't kid's Nerf. This is Nerf Rival. Our Nerf Rival blasters fire at 100 feet per second to a range of 30m. It's like paintball but without the mess and bruises. Teams of six players will compete in our tent city. The last team standing wins the points, and the team with the highest point tally at the night's end wins the Nerf tournament.

DODGEBALL:

Dodgeball with International Dodgeball Association balls and rules. Teams of six players will compete. The last team standing wins the points, and the team with the highest point tally at the night's end wins the dodgeball tournament.

MARIO KART:

Consider yourself a Nintendo Switch Mario Kart legend. Due to time constraints, this will be an elimination tournament. The Group Stages will consist of four participants per race, and the winner of each group progresses to Qualifying. Qualifying will again consist of four participants per race, with the winners of each qualifying stage progressing to the Grand Final. The Grand Final will consist of the four remaining players. Group stages consist of two races, Moo Moo Meadows & Baby Park. Qualifying consists of two races, Mario Circuit & Rainbow Road (N64). The Grand Final consists of four races, Ribbon Road, Excitebike Arena, Mount Wario & Wild Woods. Game parameters are 150cc carts, all objects, all vehicles/characters, CPU hard.
