`The Harvest Picnic
We are on a mission to Taste Vermont! With the Harvest Picnic we look forward to showcasing some of the beautiful micro-regions across the State by curating bespoke gatherings on some of Vermont’s most special farms. For each Harvest Picnic we will gather together market gardeners, grazers and producers from one particular region to create a seasonally focused, beautiful menu to be cooked exclusively over open wood fire.
This is a ticketed event. Tickets are limited and non-refundable, so please purchase ahead of time. Children are welcome! Children under 12 do not need to purchase a ticket. Cover charge does not include food. Food will be served A la Carte. An impromptu, unique menu will be created day of with Breadseed produce and Triple J Farm's meat as well as a locally sourced and created Mocktail.. Several different items will be available to try, all will be accessibly priced between $9-15! Bring a blanket or a chair, sit in the grass with your family and friends, stay for a plate or hang out for a couple of hours and try the whole menu! This is meant to be a rustic, yet refined picnic vibe. Event will happen independent of the weather! Come gather around the Hearth, and Taste Vermont with us!
Breadseed Farm
Breadseed Farm is a 1/2 acre regenerative farm growing vegetables, flowers, and herbs in a holistic system. They offer vegetables, microgreens, and flower CSA shares. You can find Breadseed's abundance at the Montpelier and Stowe Farmer's markets as well. Come meet Kayleigh and Doug of Breadseed Farm to take a farm tour and learn more about their fascinating small-scale, no-till farming methods!
The Shepherd's Hearth
At The Shepherd’s Hearth, we elevate the sacred art of cooking with flame. We are a hyper local, hyper seasonal mobile open fire kitchen. As long-time farmers ourselves, we know good practices and we take the time to connect with the farmers we work with. We source the best: as close as possible, and as fresh as it gets! This is Terroir, taste of place.
