The Harvest Picnic
We are on a mission to Taste Vermont! With the Harvest Picnic we look forward to showcasing some of the beautiful micro-regions across the State by curating bespoke gatherings on some of Vermont’s most special farms. For each Harvest Picnic we will gather together market gardeners, grazers and producers from one particular region to create a seasonally focused, beautiful menu to be cooked exclusively over open wood fire.

Cover charge does not include food. Food will be served A la Carte. An impromptu, unique menu will be created day of from a selection farms in the surrounding area. Several different menu items will be available to try, all will be accessibly priced between $9-20! Bring a blanket or a chair, sit in the grass with your family and friends, stay for a plate or hang out for a couple of hours and try the whole menu! This is meant to be a rustic, yet refined picnic vibe. Event will happen independent of the weather! Come gather around the Hearth, and Taste Vermont with us!
Lincoln Peak Vineyard
Nichole and Kevin have a passion for local agriculture and Vermont Terroir. With extensive experience in the wine industry all over the world , they've brought their expertise back to Vermont to focus on producing an authentic, Vermont wine. As farmers and growers, these wine makers are keenly aware of how sunlight, seasons and soil influence the crop they grow and the wine they produce as a result. Lincoln Peak will be releasing 3 new ciders and will have their tasting room open during the event.
Mira Cabrera - Growing in Process
As part of the Vermont Crafts Council’s statewide Open Studio Weekend, Mira Cabrera of Growing in Process, will be bringing her studio outdoors to Lincoln Peak Vineyard. Visitors can see new paintings and works in progress in an open-air studio, explore a vineyard path with artworks placed among the vines, and take part in natural pigment demonstrations. A short path through the vineyard will lead you to artworks placed among the rows—an invitation to walk slowly and notice how the paintings connect to the vineyard around them.
The Shepherd's Hearth
At The Shepherd’s Hearth, we elevate the sacred art of cooking with flame. We are a hyper local, hyper seasonal mobile open fire kitchen. As long-time farmers ourselves, we know good practices and we take the time to connect with the farmers we work with. We source the best: as close as possible, and as fresh as it gets! This is Terroir, taste of place.
