The Harvest Picnic
We are on a mission to Taste Vermont! With the Harvest Picnic we look forward to showcasing some of the beautiful micro-regions across the State by curating bespoke gatherings on some of Vermont’s most special farms. For each Harvest Picnic we will gather together market gardeners, grazers and producers from one particular region to create a seasonally focused, beautiful menu to be cooked exclusively over open wood fire.
This is a ticketed event. Tickets are limited and non-refundable, so please purchase ahead of time. Children are welcome! Children under 12 do not need to purchase a ticket. Cover charge does not include food. Food will be served A la Carte. An impromptu, unique menu will be created day of with Sunday Bell's wonderful meat and vegetables from the surrounding farms. We'll also be serving an organic, locally sourced Mocktail.. Several different menu items will be available to try, all will be accessibly priced between $9-20! Bring a blanket or a chair, sit in the grass with your family and friends, stay for a plate or hang out for a couple of hours and try the whole menu! This is meant to be a rustic, yet refined picnic vibe. Event will happen independent of the weather! Come gather around the Hearth, and Taste Vermont with us!
Sunday Bell Farm
Sunday Bell Farm is dedicated to producing food that is honest and sincere. Their greatest hope is that this food will nourish your body and spirit and enhance your connection to this working landscape we all call home. We believe that farming is healing and that soil health is community health. Providing safe, nutrient-dense, and exceptionally delicious meat and milk to their neighbors is a responsibility they take seriously. Additionally, 100% of our farmland is leased, which expands that responsibility to include caring for soils and watersheds that the entire community calls home. Sunday Bell raises beef, chicken and pork as well as phenomenal A2/A2 Raw milk. Come meet Sam and Kylie on the farm and learn more about how their dairy operation is full integrated with their pasture raised ecosystem. The Milk is what makes their meat taste so good! Remember that you are on a working farm, so walking around casually to check out animals is prohibited.
The Shepherd's Hearth
At The Shepherd’s Hearth, we elevate the sacred art of cooking with flame. We are a hyper local, hyper seasonal mobile open fire kitchen. As long-time farmers ourselves, we know good practices and we take the time to connect with the farmers we work with. We source the best: as close as possible, and as fresh as it gets! This is Terroir, taste of place.
