Description

"The Heartbeat, The Hammer" will make it's long-anticipated premier at The Broad Theater at 7 pm.  The film, conceived in the early days of United Bakery Gallery and Records, features numerous artists associated with UBR including Maggie Belle who will make her return to the stage, with band in tow, at the official afterparty.  The Itchy Stitches will follow.  

The afterparty show begins at 9pm, immediately after the film screening.  The afterparty is open to all and FREE with proof of film ticket purchase.

FAQ

  • The showtime listed for the event is the time the event starts. Doors will generally open an hour before the listed show time unless otherwise listed.
  • We allow pets during the day, but not at night for music (anything after 7pm). Service animals are always allowed
  •  Please do not park in the Broad Theater parking lot. We have a parking lot for The Broadside and plenty street parking available on Toulouse and Lafitte. If you would like to be escorted to your car, please ask the Sheriff on duty. You may also park in the Auto Zone parking lot if they are closed. 
  • Our outdoor space has a variety of seating options such as benches, picnic tables, chairs, and stools. If you require a seat for health reasons or disability, please ask a staff member and they can provide you with a chair.
