Our Highlights Tour runs from Tuesday – Saturday at 2pm for 30 minutes.
We kindly recommend that you book your tour in advanced to ensure your space and receive updates.
20 people maximum (all ages welcome).
Accessibility – All areas are accessible via ramps. Please be aware of uneven surfaces. Large print resources are available. If you have any accessibility requirements, please email visit@portsmouthcathedral.org.uk
Please be advised that due to the active nature of the Cathedral this tour is subject to cancellation. If you have booked a Highlights Tour, we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible in such an event. Terms and conditions can be found below.
Booking
Booking for the 30-minute Highlights Tour, offered at 2pm Tuesday to Saturdays via online is recommended.
Booking for the Highlights Tour can take place up until 1pm on the day of the tour.
Maximum numbers for one tour are 20 attendees.
If number of attendees in your group exceeds that listed in section 1.3, a Group Guided Tour must be booked.
If your number of attendees cannot be booked for the tour on the desired date due to places already booked, please book an alternative date.
The Cathedral has no parking available; parking will need to be sourced by the attendees. Costings
Highlight tour is a free tour, but donations are welcome.
As per section 2.1, donation information will be communicated via email when booking online, see section 1.1
Cancellation or Amendments
Any tour is subject to an event beyond the Cathedral’s reasonable control renders a tour impossible or impractical.
If the tour has been booked, see section 1.1, the Cathedral will contact the party as soon as possible to communicate this cancellation or amendment.
The Cathedral is not liable for any charges incurred from travel, pre-booked or not, if a tour has been cancelled.
Termination due to Pandemic or Epidemic
In the event that a tour must be postponed or cancelled either directly or indirectly as a result of the Covid-19 Pandemic or any similar epidemic or pandemic, this clause shall prevail over any other force majeure provision. In the case of possible abandonment or interruption by either the parties, both parties will co-operate in good faith with a view to agree a plan for resuming and/or rescheduling the tour, as far as may be reasonable.
