The Honey Jar, the most antioxidant rich improv comedy variety show in town, is kicking off our 2026 season at the Hive Collaborative with a super casual gala! Come out to show your support for local theater, enjoy some PUPPET-themed improv, meet local artists & new improv friends, and get a little fancy with us!
Full program coming soon. Formal or “business casual” attire is encouraged, but not at all required. Just bring yourself!

The Honey Jar is a monthly improv variety show that brings the funniest troupes in town together for a night of laughs and fresh comedy! We are proud to host our show at the beautiful Hive Collaborative in Saint Paul, and we're asking you to help us reach our fundraising goal to directly support the staff that makes our programming possible, and ensures we can pay the brilliant performers that light up the stage each month. Destiny Davison (she/they) is a multimedia artist, cartoonist, and improviser from Minneapolis. She performs her solo show, DOLLY WHO?, routinely across the Twin Cities and is a member of Blackout Improv Comedy. She’s appeared on stages at The Ordway, The Playwright’s Center, the Minnesota Fringe Festival, Pangea World Theatre, HUGE Theater, the Bryant Lake Bowl, Open Eye Theatre, In the Heart of the Beast, and the Brave New Workshop’s Dudley Riggs Theatre. Currently, she is a 2026 Puppet Lab Cohort member at Open Eye Theatre and working on a webcomic described best as “Lord of the Rings but with snails.” Find her comics and cartoons at www.yllodaka.com and @hellodollywho.
Ross Flores (he/him) is a comedian, actor, and dancer originally from New York but now located in Minnesota, specifically the great city of Saint Paul. He started doing improv in Chicago and, since then, has performed improv, stand up, and sketch comedy throughout the country. This includes, but is not limited to, The Second City, Laugh Factory (Chicago) the Chicago Improv Festival, Broadway Comedy Club, the Del Close Marathon, North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, Crossroads Comedy Festival, Twin Cities Improv Festival, SnoJam Comedy Festival, HUGE Improv Theater, and Brave New Workshop’s Dudley Riggs Theatre. Also, his solo show, The Manny Rodriguez Show, premiered in November of 2024. Find him on Instagram: @rofloflo.
