Brand New for 2022!
The Hour is a test of your swim run speed and endurance. How many full 200m swim loops and 1000m run laps can you complete inside 60 minutes ?
Open to solo entrants age 16+ "The Hour" provides simple and safe grass roots activity with no fuss or frills just easy to access local fun racing. We have a swim hat for every single entrant and our event timing means we do not need to mail you out anything in the post either. The focus is on participation but of course we welcome high flyers as well as first timers – full results will be published and prizes awarded to podium finishers.
After entering online (link below) you can sign in from 12:00 and the event will start at 13:00. The Hour 2022 will consist of a 200m swim followed by a 1000m run. One swim and one run will constitute one lap completed. You will need to complete as many full laps as you can within the hour. When you sign in on the day you will be issued with your event swim hat and a full briefing will be given. For example you may choose to wear a swim run wetsuit or just a tri suit, you may choose to swim in trainers or put them into a transition area - all of this and more will be covered in our briefing.
Most importantly it is a friendly fun event that will provide you with a new challenge right here in Lincoln. There will also be a full opportunity for socialising with friends and family - a great day out for spectators with food and drink available to purchase on site.
