Description

Join the Woodman Museum and director William Saxe for a fresh take on Oscar Wilde’s classic romantic comedy, “The Importance of Being Earnest." Two Victorian Era bachelors, Jack Worthing and Algernon Moncrieff, create the alter ego “Ernest” in order to escape their day-to-day responsibilities and attract women. Hilarity and confusion occur when their fiancées discover that they are engaged to the “same” man, Ernest.

This presentation will be an interactive retelling of this classic play. Guests will watch the story unfold as they move through several scenes within the exhibit halls of the Woodman Museum. The show will run approximately one and a half hours.  Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
