IMPORTANT – POSTPONEMENT OF LEXINGTON FORUM
NOTE RE: POSTPONEMENT
Please be advised – Lt. Governor Jacqueline Coleman has had to postpone her discussion with the Lexington Forum due to the catastrophic floods and their aftermath in Eastern Kentucky. We apologize, and will not be hosting a program this Thursday morning.
We hope to reschedule Lt. Governor Coleman and will honor any tickets purchased. If we are unable to reschedule, we will refund all charges paid for the event.
Please stay tuned for further information on this rescheduling, and please plan to join us on September 1 to hear from UK Athletic Director Mitch Barnhart.
As always, thank you for supporting the Lexington Forum – Conversations that Matter.
Join the Lexington Forum as we welcome Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman as we look forward to hearing about her Administration's focus, her experience and the state of the Commonwealth.
Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman is an educator, basketball coach, writer, founder of a non-profit and the fifty-eighth lieutenant governor of Kentucky. She is wife to Chris, mom to Evelynne, adopted mom to Emma and a bonus mom to Will and Nate.
Public service is a way of life for Jacqueline and her family. She was raised on a farm, and her family owned a small business in Mercer County. This taught her to offer a hand up to those in need and, as a result, has devoted her personal and professional life to serving her community – first in the classroom and now in public office. She is a tireless advocate for public education and a strong proponent of young women stepping into leadership roles. She founded Lead Kentucky, an organization that ensures Kentucky’s college women are prepared and empowered to seek leadership positions on their campuses and in their professional fields.
As Lieutenant Governor, Jacqueline is focused on rural economic development and creating a comprehensive cradle-to-career public education and job training system in Kentucky that will produce the future leaders of our Commonwealth. Jacqueline is determined to build a better Kentucky for every one.
