September 5th - 7th, 2025 – Get ready for an unforgettable journey into the chaos of love, rebellion, and self-discovery with The Mad Ones Musical at the Rockstars Of Tomorrow High Desert.
The Mad Ones, created by Bree Lowdermilk and Kait Kerrigan, tells the story of 18-year-old Samantha Brown, who finds herself at a crossroads in life, sitting in a hand-me-down car with the keys clutched in her hand. Torn between the lure of the unknown and the weight of expectation, she reflects on her senior year, a time before her world fell apart. As she revisits her past, Sam's relationships with her well-meaning but overbearing mother, Bev, and her high school sweetheart, Adam, come into focus. But it's her fearless and impulsive best friend Kelly who continues to haunt Sam. Kelly pushed her to break the rules, to take risks, and to live boldly. When Kelly tragically dies in a car accident, Sam not only loses her closest friend but also the part of herself that was learning to be brave. Now, Sam is faced with a life-changing choice: will she follow her mother's prescribed path, or will she summon the courage to drive away, leaving behind everything familiar to embrace a future filled with uncertainty?
Performances run September 5th - 7th, with shows at 7:30 PM on Friday and Saturday and two performances on Sunday at 2:30 PM and 7:30 PM. Tickets are $20 and will be available for purchase starting July 1st.
