A Committee of parents, who are members of The Coop Learning and Real World Adventure Club, are planning this event for our families, homeschool friends, and kiddos.
Description
It’s not a dance. It’s a glow up. 
The Not Dance is an end-of-year celebration for upper elementary and middle school-age kids who aren’t quite ready for a formal dance but absolutely deserve a special night of their own! Think glowing arts and crafts, a jewelry station, interstellar snacks and drinks, short dance break-outs, SO many ‘funtivities’, and plenty of time to just hang out with their people to wrap up the school year and launch summer break!

Semi-formal attire requested. Wear white or neon if you'd like to glow under the black lights!

TICKETS
$35 per ticket includes supervised drop-off fun, handmade arts and crafts, party favors, snacks and beverages.
We’re doing VERY special things —We’ll have a small guest count (only 80 students max.) for a more intimate and less overwhelming experience. The ticket price will also go toward the many arts, crafts, favors, and prizes your kiddo will get to keep! This event is hosted by volunteer moms, who are planning this special night for our kids and our greater homeschool community and it is not for profit. We're the same group who brought you The Yule Ball, Silent Disco Dance-a-Thon, Greatest Showman Dance, and last year's Spooky Soiree.

The Not Dance is a volunteer-chaperoned drop-off event. It will be chaperoned by approximately 20 volunteer homeschool parents who are part of our community — and who have kids attending the event too. Please help us honor that by setting your child up for success. You know your child best.
Before dropping off, please consider: Is my child ready to behave respectfully toward other kids, the chaperones, and the venue? This event is designed for kids who are prepared to have fun responsibly.
A few practical notes:
- Our chaperones are volunteers, not a professional childcare provider, and we’re not equipped to manage special needs or dietary restrictions.
- You’re more than welcome to walk in with your child and take a look around before you head out for the evening.
- At drop-off, we’ll ask for your contact information — please stay close to your phone and be ready to come back if needed.
- To keep the evening smooth and safe for all the kids, chaperones need to stay focused. If a child’s behavior becomes a concern, we’ll give parents a call as a heads-up.
- If the behavior continues after that, we’ll ask you to come pick them up — no hard feelings, just keeping everyone safe.
