11/25: Front row partial view seats are now open for a flat rate of $18. (Partial view means that you will not see the dancers' feet due to a high stage apron. These are not advised for children.)

Join us for a fun holiday tradition of The Nutcracker Ballet. Follow Clara and her Nutcracker Prince as they travel through the Land of the Snowflakes and on to the Kingdom of the Sugar Plum Fairy where all of the sweets come to life. We are excited to present the full-length version of the Nutcracker ballet this year featuring Tchaikovsky's complete score. The run time of the show is two hours with one intermission.
While at the show, visit our special holiday boutique to get a jump-start on your holiday shopping. The boutique - featuring ornaments, Nutcrackers, stocking stuffers, jewelry, books, toys, and sweets - will be open prior to and after the performance, as well as during intermission. Raffle items include coupons for dance classes at GWDC, holiday-themed baskets, and gift certificates to various stores and restaurants. All proceeds benefit Festival Ballet Virginia.
All lap-sitters under age 2 may attend for free. We also offer special pricing and perks for Scout Groups of 10 or more (leaders/families included). Plus, each Scout will receive a special Nutcracker patch! Email ScoutInfoFBV@gmail.com for details and discount code.

Festival Ballet Virginia is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, high quality, pre-professional dance company dedicated to inspiring excellence and infusing passion in dancers and audience members. Festival Ballet Virginia provides the important performing experience necessary to complete our dancers' education. Membership in Festival Ballet Virginia is by audition held each spring. In addition to their class commitment, dancers in Festival Ballet Virginia participate in Performance Workshop classes where they work on choreography, rehearse, and master the techniques necessary for performing.
An important component of Festival Ballet Virginia is an extensive educational approach, providing educational and entertaining outreach programs to our service area schools, through special student performances and through lecture demonstrations designed to introduce children to the art of dance.
