About the artist:

Tinca Tinca is a melodic, lyrical, retro-futuristic indie rock band based in Knoxville, TN. They have been featured on WDVX, WUTK, Real Knoxville Music, performed at an array of venues and festivals including the historic Bijou Theatre, the Emporium, the Tennessee Theater and live on WATE Channel 6 ABC. Ben McLaughlin creates folk music that sounds like an electrified awakening. A multi-instrumentalist and audio engineer, he self-produces the songs he has written within the meditative state, weaving together melodic thoughts of self- and environmental dissection with organic production. Reminiscent of the warm sounds of the early 70’s, the final results offer the listener to experience an authenticity that allows them to lovingly transcend to their own higher essence.

 

About the event:

Ticket prices are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. The doors will open at 6:30 pm, and the show will begin at 7:00 pm.
