Description
Synopsis: After benefiting from a large and sudden inheritance, the inept and accident-prone Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society embark on producing an ambitious 1920s murder mystery. Hilarious disaster ensues and the cast start to crack under the pressure. Can they get the production back on track before the final curtain falls? Called “the funniest play Broadway has ever seen” (The Huffington Post), this classic murder mystery is chock-full of mishaps and madcap mania. Welcome to opening night of The Murder at Haversham Manor, where things are quickly going from bad to utterly disastrous. With an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines), it’s “comic gold” (Variety) sure to bring down the house.
This production of The Play That Goes Wrong is presented in one act without an intermission. Snacks and beverages will be available to purchase prior to the show and may be enjoyed at your table inside the theater. Seating is by reservation. Table seats in the front row may be in the "splash zone" as actors work with liquids in the production, mostly water. Individual seats and tables in the back sit higher than tables in the main front section. Doors open to the theater for seating 20 minutes prior to the performance.
Recommended for ages 8 and up.
