SYNOPSIS:
A down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and his mild-mannered accountant come up with a scheme to produce the most notorious flop in history, thereby bilking their backers out of millions of dollars. Only one thing goes awry: the show is a smash hit! The antics of Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom as they maneuver their way fecklessly through finding a show, hiring a director, raising the money and finally going to prison for their misdeeds is a lesson in broad comic construction. At the core of the insanely funny adventure is a poignant emotional journey of two very different men who become friends.

COVID PRECAUTIONS

• All audience members are strongly encouraged to wear masks the entire time they are in CEC.
• Capacity is limited to 75 seats in the house per performance.
• We will not have food for sale during intermission. We also remind our audiences that bringing in their own food and drink into the theater is not permitted. There will be complimentary water available.
• We strongly encourage everyone to purchase their tickets to this production in advance. Online ticket sales will end one hour prior to the performance. We will have tickets available at the door, but we prefer not to accept cash payment. We request payment by debit or charge cards.
