An all day introduction to Lindy Hop workshop.  Beginner Jitterbug lesson and social dance in the evening.

 

SCHEDULE

 

9:30 am - Check-In

10:00 - 11:00 am - Get Rhythm in Your Feet

Get moving to the music! This solo class will explore the basic rhythms used in Lindy Hop to get you ready to dance with a partner. 

11:15 am - 12:15 pm - Lindy Hopper’s Delight

Let’s do some Lindy Hop! In this class, we’ll cover the basics of the Lindy Hop swingout.

 

Lunch

1:30 pm - 2:30 pm- One O’clock Jump

You’ve learned the swingout, now let’s add some moves!

2:45 pm - 3:45 pm - Sing Me a Swing Song (and Let Me Dance)

Now that you’ve got some Lindy hop basics, how do we bring it all together? This musicality-based class will help you dance to  the music and make the dance your own.

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm - Social Dance
