Opening with Kansas Lee and DL Ranney:
Kansas Lee has spent over a decade honing her craft as a singer-songwriter, a journey that culminates in her latest studio album, “Ostara”. As a soulful folk songwriter, she’s known for her powerful voice, intricate guitar rhythms, and beautifully potent lyrics that resonate deeply with her audience. Accompanied by her partner DL on percussion they will be telling meaningful stories through soulfilled melodies and beats.

Sarah Orton Band is a 4-piece electric ensemble, driven by dynamic and awe-inspiring vocals in a genre best described as 'Soul Noir’: A smoky blend of moody lullabies delivered with the timeless grit of country/blues, alt-folk and classic R&B. Orton's work is inspired by her families Doukhobor heritage, merging distant stories with sounds from her own history of performing in bands for over 15 years in Canada's DIY music scene.
Exploring the depths of her musicianship through her solo project, the line-up features Ness Benamran on drums, Jesse Lee on bass, and Peter Johnson on lead guitar. Performances have met Kaslo Jazz Etc. Festival, Woodstove, Pachena Bay, Tiny Lights and Ignite The Arts Festival. With the great privilege of opening up for acclaimed artists Ora Cogan, Shaela Miller, and Billie Zizi on their album release tours.
