Description
Thirteen of the Declaration of Independence signers were Scots of Scottish Descent. We will explore the influence of Scots and Scottish events which since the 11th century inspired our founding fathers to create a democratic form of government.
Scotland history has been a struggle for independence for centuries. These events and the Scottish Enlightenment led to an understanding of what "government by the people" should be. We will meet those Scots and witness their contributions to the founding of our country.
