Description

Three artists. One stage. Anything is possible.

The Secret Kacy Miller Tour  brings together The Secret Beach, Kacy Lee Anderson (of Kacy & Clayton and The Waverly Pickers), and Shaela Miller — a triple-threat of songwriting brilliance and sonic mischief. Sometimes they’ll play solo, sometimes they’ll jump in on each other’s sets, and sometimes they’ll surprise even themselves. Expect harmonies, heartbreakers, foot-stompers, and the kind of moments you only get when friends hit the road together.

It’s independent. It’s unpredictable. It’s a night you’ll be glad you didn’t stay home for.

The Secret Beach:

The Secret Beach is the new collaborative musical project fronted by songwriter/producer Micah Erenberg. Micah has collaborated with, written, produced and engineered for artists such as Kacy & Clayton, Lee Ranaldo & Zoon, Boy Golden, The Waverley Pickers, Fontine and Marlon Williams. He has worked with producer/engineers such as Rob Schnapf (Elliott Smith, Dr. Dog), Rob Fraboni (Bob Dylan, The Band, Rolling Stones, Beach Boys) and Sam Plecker (Father John Misty, Local Natives).
The project is an ever-shifting group of musicians orbiting around Micah’s songs, with a new album out this August titled “We Were Born Here, What’s Your Excuse?”. The album was crafted under the guidance of legendary producer Rob Fraboni and is teeming with home-grown warmth; its 16 tracks casually unfurl spools of intimate texture, hushed melodies, and a wholly inviting atmosphere that puts the listener virtually in the same room as these timeless numbers. The songs – many of them barely cracking the two-minute mark – fly effortlessly by.

Kacy Lee Anderson

Kacy Lee Anderson is an enchantress of song whose evocative voice—both haunting and comforting—has made her a beloved figure in contemporary folk and country music. Living in Canada’s darkest Dark-Sky preserve on her family cattle ranch in Saskatchewan, Anderson has become a celestial wonder in her own right. She delivers spellbinding performances, whether playing solo, with her band The Waverley Pickers, or as one half of the acclaimed Canadian duo Kacy & Clayton.

Her most recent work, Early Hits (2025), recorded with The Waverley Pickers, showcases her songwriting with a masterful union of sonic nostalgia and modern sensibility—channeling the timeless storytelling tradition of artists like Sandy Denny, Iris DeMent, and Merle Haggard.

She has shared the stage with notable artists such as The Deep Dark Woods, The Sadies, The Secret Beach, Richard Thompson, and Wilco. Jeff Tweedy of Wilco, a Grammy winner, has also been a strong advocate for her career, producing two of her albums. Over the past decade, Anderson has toured extensively, opening for Ray LaMontagne, William Prince, Colter Wall, The Decemberists, Bahamas, and others. She has also performed at renowned festivals such as Hardly Strictly Bluegrass and MerleFest and been nominated for multiple JUNO awards.

Shaela Miller

Shaela Miller’s years spent doing good country music work are safely etched into public consciousness.  A turn at this point is by no means an undoing, but a welcome lead into new territory.  Miller’s fast-rising path is set to be amplified by a sonic reintroduction to one of Alberta’s best voices and most sincere stage personalities.

On the heels of a 1st Place Project WILD finish, years of top-tier folk festival circuiting, TV placements like HBO’s True Blood, and many other accomplishments, Shaela is set for much more in 2023.

Early dreams stay in the blood. Pulsating drum beats meet ring-spun synthesizers balanced by steel guitar professions as the listener is introduced to a captivating story.  It’s one of a dual world – a binary of New Wave and Classic Country – the expression that reared a young songwriter years ago.  For Shaela, it’s a self-indulgent trip back to a world of music she’s been patiently waiting to explore.  The listener should take comfort in feeling a little tense, but this is no sleight of hand. It’s all from the deep well of emotion where Shaela lives as a songwriter.  Where dreams go unspent, the host can be left to wither.  Take a small comfort knowing that Shaela is guiding her own career path as every artist should –  with no fear of expectations.
