Mass airport protests and pink hats have given way to faster, more targeted, and often decentralized actions like “No Sleep for ICE.” This talk explores why the tactics, tone, and speed of resistance have shifted, what that says about political fatigue, strategy, and power, and how these changes could shape organizing, accountability, and voter engagement heading into the 2026 and 2028 elections.
Meet your speaker: Bridgette Tupes is a partner and co-founder of RT Advisors. She has over 15 years of experience working on local, state and federal races in Ohio. She has experience in fundraising, political outreach, relationship management, and field campaign management. Bridgette has served on the DNC Youth Council, the Ohio Young Democrats Board, and as an appointed officer of the Young Democrats of America. She also is a member for the Columbus Steering Committee for the Human Rights Campaign and board chair of Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio.
