The presenters have extensive SRV and Passing experience and have been involved in the study, teaching, and implementation of Model Coherency evaluation and design.
Description of the workshop:
This virtual presentation is comprised of four two-hour sessions designed to provide an overview of Dr. Wolf Wolfensberger’s most advanced formulation of his construct of model coherency. It is based almost entirely on his published (three-volume) text, Model Coherency the Key to Human Service Quality.
The workshop is an important opportunity for those who have Social Role Valorization/Passing experience and who are currently or aspire to be in leadership roles in teaching and/or implementing SRV. We believe that knowledge of the Model Coherency formulation substantially enriches one’s ability to understand, teach, and implement SRV theory by enabling one to discern the degree to which basic structural elements of a service contribute to a role-valorizing whole.

Session 3: The Model Coherency components of content & process, Model Coherency evaluation
Session 4: The use of Model Coherency for service design
Please Note: Some prior training in Social Role Valorization is highly recommended for participation in the workshop.
