Description

It sure is hard to be humble when you're a swashbuckling, egocentric super-hero. But our gallant guy-in-green tries his best as he swaggers through The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood, a frantically funny, Monty Pythonesque retelling of the classic. This time around, the legendary legend, in his never-ending quest to aid the needy, encounters a lovely damsel-in-distress (oddly obsessed with skin conditions); an ever-scheming sheriff who would rather bowl a strike than hit a bull's-eye; a gold-hoarding, bad-guy monarch wannabe; and the good-natured "Town's Gals" who manages to make their way into every scene, whether they belongs there or not. Combine them with an expandable band of spoon-wielding Merry Men (and women) whose collective IQs equal six, and you've got an irreverent jaunt through Sherwood Forest you won't soon forget!

Towle Institute

Towle Institute exists to equip families with the expertise and resources necessary to provide students with a home-based, Christ-centered education. Recognizing the spiritual, academic, and social advantages of home education, Towle seeks to offer an alternative to traditional home education to a broad range of families. The school and faculty provide complementary and supplementary academic assistance through weekly instruction and academic planning, but do not replace parents as primary educators.

An Alternative Home Education

Towle Institute is a non-traditional school for those families seeking to educate their children in their home environment. We are a private school, incorporated in Delaware, serving home-educated students from Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. We offer a full-course curriculum for grades six through twelve and provide oversight for siblings of families living in Delaware for kindergarten through fifth grade.

Our objective is to offer an integrated curriculum that addresses the individual’s needs. Our purpose is to support the parent and child in their learning experience. We hope that by sharing our gifts and resources, we can enhance the secondary educational experience of the home-educated student.

Towle offers a full range of academic activities supporting the students’ educational experience. Because homeschooling is an individual experience, independent study for credit may be arranged.
