Description
4 of Maryland's finest are taking the stage to share their songs and stories.
David sparrow:
Americana Folk Pop. Sparrow’s music combines honest lyrics with memorable melodies that you’ll want to listen to again and again.
After a long stint in Los Angeles, as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of The Whiskey Saints and Burning Jet Black, Sparrow returned to Maryland in early 2019 and has been playing shows up and down the East Coast.
“One Night in April” (produced and engineered by Timothy Bracken) is the latest full-length release (May 2024). It’s a stripped down “live” album attempting to capture some urgency from a newly compiled body of work.
Sparrow’s third album “Things You Tell Yourself” begins production in May 2026 at Shiahma Studios in San Luis Obispo, CA with an anticipated Fall 2026 release.
Callum:
Callum is an 19-year-old recording artist from berlin, maryland, known for her unique tone and synesthetic approach to music. blending alternative rock with jazz-folk, her sound draws comparisons to finneas, phoebe bridgers, and hayley williams. with emotionally raw lyrics and a captivating stage presence, callum creates music that feels personal and timeless - whether solo or with a band, her performance will leave a lasting impression.
Laura brino:
Laura brino is an award-winning indie folk-pop singer-songwriter based in annapolis, maryland. a recipient of the 2026 bernard/ebb songwriter award, she has released ten albums spanning indie folk, americana, and singer-songwriter traditions. her music has been featured in film and television and is known for its emotional honesty, vivid storytelling, and themes of resilience, connection, and hope.
In addition to her solo work, Brino is a founder of Songbird Collective and performs with Lily and the Pearl, Friends and Folklore, Caprarian, and Sisiwitch. Her latest album, The Other Side, explores survival, community, and transformation.
Chris Honeman:
Chris Honeman is a Maryland-based folk singer-songwriter whose music lives somewhere between weathered storytelling and raw emotional honesty.
In 2025, Honeman released his debut album, October Pines, a collection of reflective folk songs carried by fingerpicked guitars, aching melodies, and stripped-down vulnerability. That same year, he was named a finalist in the Delmarva Folk Hero competition for Delaware, further establishing him as one of the region’s emerging voices in independent folk music.
From quiet listening rooms to festival stages of over a thousand people, Honeman’s performances are marked by sincerity and connection. Though capable of commanding larger crowds, it’s in intimate rooms where his music resonates most deeply — where every lyric lands with the weight of lived experience and every song feels like a conversation shared under dim lights.
In 2026, Honeman sold out a headline performance at the Avalon Theatre, continuing to build a devoted following across the Mid-Atlantic through honest songwriting and emotionally driven live performances
