CALLING ALL PERFORMING ARTISTS!!

We invite you to come audition for the Dance Institute of Washington’s (DIW) most popular and longest-running cultural arts production (since 1995), The Spirit of Kwanzaa

The Spirit of Kwanzaa is a cultural arts celebration that focuses on the agricultural ceremonies of Africa. DIW has adapted the seven principles of Kwanzaa to convey the struggles and creativity of the Black diaspora. The production highlights the holiday’s principles with dance, song, live drumming, and spoken word. We are thrilled to offer this unique opportunity to ALL performing artists across the DMV community and beyond!

Immerse yourself in this life-changing experience, by exploring this year’s theme, “For The Culture.” Without culture there is no history, without history there is no future

Join us on this transformative journey as we celebrate The Spirit of Kwanzaa and the boundless potential of our artistic community. Don't miss out on this life-changing opportunity. Register to audition today!
