Virginia Youth Ballet presents a classic ballet, The Steadfast Toy Soldier. We are excited to announce we will be offering our supporters a virtual ticket that will allow you to view the live performance from the comfort of your home for $20 per show. This is not an in person ticket.
Sarah receives a doll house and dolls on her birthday. The evening after her party, Sarah discovers the dolls have come to life. Her favorite dolls, a soldier and a ballerina, are provoked by the mischievous Jack-in-the-Box. The soldier tries to protect the other dolls, but the Jack-in-the-Box throws the soldier over a wall. The soldier ends up in the sewer where he encounters strange creatures. His journey in the sewer ends when he is swallowed by a giant fish, but with a miraculous twist of fate, he returns home to Sarah.
The live stream, via YouTube, will began approximately 15 minutes prior to the show starting. The link is valid for use on one device. The performance will last approximately 1 1/2 hours.
Your live stream link will be sent in your purchase confirmation email, to the email you provide during checkout. A digital copy of the performance program will be emailed to you, closer to the show date.
NOTE: This will be streamed live for your selected performance, so please plan to watch the performance at that time.
