We at the museum work to preserve and present the rich history of the Attleboro area with an emphasis on its industrial history. We welcome visits by individuals and groups interested in exploring Attleboro’s industrial history. We are active in making historic presentations both at the museum and out in our community.
Description
Join us at the AAIM on Wednesday, July 9th from 6:15pm to 7:15pm for a read aloud of “The Three Little Pigs” followed by a STEM activity geared toward younger children.
Bring your young learners for a story and engineering challenge. This is your chance for families to work together and put your STEM skills to the test. We all know and love the "Three Little Pigs," but have we tested the accuracy of its story line? Is the third pig's brick house the strongest of the three? Let's find out! We will build each house and test which house stands and which falls by attempting to blow them down.
This event is free. Registration is encouraged but not required. This event is intended for ages 3-5.
