The Tinderbox is a feature-length romantic comedy motion picture based on the fairy tale of the same name by Hans Christian Andersen. A troubled Soldier returns home to Butte and finds an old tinder box that can bring him anything he desires, including heaps of gold, and a beautiful young lady kept captive in a tower by her paranoid father.
Directed by David L. Butler, cinematographer on Apocalypse Now, The Black Stallion, The Blues Brothers etc. and Emmy-nominated comedy writer, Elizabeth Cox, The Tinderbox stars a cast of incredibly talented actors including Mike Nance, Mike Verdon, and Brin Merkley. Filmed on location in Butte, Montana. Anticipated rating: PG-13.
