Woodland RoadThe Two Fridas is motivated by one of the world’s most famous self-portraits 'The Two Fridas' by legendary Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. which is being brought to life from the canvas to the stage through an intriguing mixture of storytelling, dance, music and live performance!
Delving into the lives and works of two incredible female artists Frida Kahlo and Amrita Sher-Gil exploring identity, home and relationships, ‘𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐰𝐨 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐬’ is presented by Billingham International Folklore Festival of World Dance in collaboration with Balbir Singh Dance Company.
Tuck into some Mexican-themed food as local food vendor Taco Libre, will be serving Tacos, Loaded Nachos and Burritos before and after the performance!
We will have a bar service available before the performance and during intervals.
Doors open for the performance at 5.30pm, beginning at 6pm and set to finish around 7pm.
If we encounter poor weather conditions on the day, an appropriate indoor location for the performance will be available.
