Description

PushPush Arts presents an evening of contemporary theater from Ukraine featuring two powerful performances by emerging Ukrainian playwrights whose lives and work have been shaped by war.

The evening includes Blue Potatoes, Yellow Guns by Hanna Bulatova, an epic and deeply human story following one family's journey through the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and Text for Theater by Antonina Crimea, a moving reflection on the role of art and storytelling during times of conflict by a playwright currently serving in the Ukrainian armed forces.

Presented as part of the PushPush Arts Portal International Exchange Program in partnership with the Center for International Theater Development and the Worldwide Ukrainian Play Reading Series, these works offer Atlanta audiences a rare opportunity to experience contemporary voices from Ukraine through live theater.
