Description

Join Dorothy and friends as they dance their way through the magical land of Oz.  This full-length ballet will be performed entirely by students of the North Fork Ballet in Paonia.  Everyone is sure to be “swept away” by this new, creative rendition of a timeless classic. 

 

On stage at the Paradise Theater Friday, May 6 at 6pm, and Saturday May 7 at 2pm.  Due to limited seating, we expect these shows will sell out.

 

Doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime.  Arrive early to purchase flowers or refreshments.  Proceeds from flower sales support the North Fork Ballet scholarship program.

The Paradise Theatre

The Paradise Theatre is an intimate non-profit theatre and entertainment venue located in the heart of Downtown Paonia. Our mission is to build community through educational events, live music, film and theater. The historic theatre was built in 1928 and formed into a non-profit in 2014. From it's inception, the Paradise has been a gathering place for film, music and community events. Our standing room capacity is 250 people and our seated capacity is 150 people. We offer organic popcorn, locally produced wine, hard cider and chocolate and we have a full bar. The Paradise Theatre welcomes everyone with love and kindness, regardless of your beliefs, your culture, your race, your gender or your politics. This is a safe space for all people.
