Description
The framework of this spine tingler is a gripping one: a young actor is hired by the aging Arthur Kipps to help re-enact a story from his past that has long troubled him. He hopes that the public recounting of his experience will eternally shed the truly horrifying memories, finally bringing sleep without nightmares. Under the actor’s tutelage, we are transported to an isolated town where the funeral of an elderly recluse has drawn unwelcome guests and devastating consequences. As the previously untold narrative is unveiled before our eyes, it is soon clear why the local townspeople are terrified at the mere mention of the Woman in Black.
