Description

Join the World Crime League for a screening of the Fritz Lang noir classic "M!"

A massive manhunt is underway in Berlin. Police have been searching for a prolific serial killer for months to no avail. After months of suspicion and panic, the city’s criminal underground decides to take matters into their own hands and hunt down the murderer themselves.  1931, German with English subtitles. Runtime is approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.

In addition to the film screening, we will be raffling off several items from local businesses and artists- all proceeds will go toward this summer's Minnesota Fringe Festival production- a new adaptation of M, written and directed by Emma Kessler- as well as other future World Crime League productions.

This event is an all-ages event, however, while there is no onscreen depiction, this film deals with a child murderer. Parents are advised to use caution if bringing children to the fundraising event.

Doors open at 6:30 with screening starting at around 7PM.
