Theatre for All puts the spotlight on stories of performers with disabilities.

Triad Pride Acting Company is proud to present Theatre for All, a program which provides a safe and accessible environment for individuals with disabilities to express their creativity and grow their performance and social skills. This March our cast will work collaboratively to create an original, heartwarming show that incorporates music, movement, and a variety of theatre skills. Our show  will start out with no scripts–just an inspiring theme and an enthusiastic spirit of collaboration. (The title of the show will give you a hint about our theme!) Over the course of the program our participants work with each other as well as acting, musical, and inclusion specialists to develop a totally original show for the community. The performances promise to bring large doses of joy, laughter, and feel-good warm fuzzies as audiences experience the dreams and passions of the participants come to life on stage. 

A family member of one of our participants said it best, “This program meets disabled people where they are. The director doesn’t have predetermined expectations for the cast. Performers get the opportunity to grow and progress at their own pace and they create a performance that speaks to the things that are important to each individual.” Come and experience the fun for yourself!

Triad Pride Performing Arts (TPPA) is a vibrant collective of LGBTQ+ individuals and allies dedicated to using the power of performance to entertain, enlighten, and enrich. Advocating for equality and social justice, TPPA champions acceptance and understanding, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or physical ability.

TPPA’s diverse programs celebrate creativity and inclusion, featuring:

  • Adult choruses in SSAA, TTBB, and SATB formats.

  • The Acting Company, bringing compelling stories to life.

  • Counterpoint, an outreach chorus spreading positivity and awareness.

  • Theatre For All, a unique program providing performance opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Through these initiatives, TPPA fosters pride and builds a community united by artistry and shared values.
