THE NEW NORMAL DRIVE IN THEATER

Dates: Friday, May 29, 2020 – Sunday, May 31, 2020

Location:  Milam Street at Texas Avenue (behind FUMC)

Two showings:  6pm       (Family Matinee) 

                            9:30pm (Adult Matinee)

Cost: $25 per car

Online ticket sales only (cannot drive up and purchase a ticket)

Ticket sales will close at noon on each date of movie showings. 

Guests will show their QR  code via their smart phones to the movie attendants.

Please print a receipt to place in your car window to show that you pre-purchased a ticket, but phones will also be checked for the QR code. 

There are 150 parking spaces per movie time slot.

Downtown Dining

We encourage everyone attending to order from the $10 per person menu (inclusive of tax) and support downtown restaurants. Each night will feature two different downtown restaurants with movie friendly menus. Orders can be placed until the day before each movie showing.  Participating restaurants are:

*No motorcycles or motor homes

*First come first to get a parking spot – no reserved spots. 

*Parking lot will open one hour before the first matinee. 

*Windshield stickers will be given to those purchasing both movies for one night so they can remain in their same parking space. 

*Small trash bags will be given to all cars so they can take their trash with them. 

Movies will be shown on an LED screen wall (and not an inflatable screen).  This type of wall makes the pixelation of the images  much sharper and brighter. 

Folks will tune into the sound via their car radios.

Public restrooms will be available with a hand washing station (installed with hand sanitizer and Lysol spray)

We encourage those people attending to dress up in the theme of the movie they are seeing. and take photos to send to Instagram via #beafanofSB that will appear on the LED social media wall screen.  There will be other interactive fun during the course of the intermission. Mention car symphony directed by Shreveport Symphony Director, Michael Butterman.

*Due to the current COVID-19 protocol, we are recommending that those who have been sharing living space during the pandemic to remain the same that will be in the car.

Sorry, no ticket refunds once purchased. due to the high cost of movie licensing and the limited number of parking spots  no refunds will be given once the ticket has been purchased.
