MISSION STATEMENT
To inspire every mother to train her children in the way to an abundant life through a rainbow of living foods and proactive healthy habits.
Our Vision
We help faith-based and community organizations promote a culture of health to improve the health of our children.
The Movement
M.O.R.E.—an acronym for “Moms Organized for Raw Eating”. This movement organizes mothers to become actively engaged in teaching children the importance of eating “MORE” rainbows. It builds on the firm foundation of the Eight Laws of Health attractively presented through the R.A.I.N.B.O.W.S acronym—“Rest, Activity, In-Control, Nutrition, Believe, Oxygen, Water, Sunshine.”
The Need
The link between diet and disease is not a new one. Research indicates fruits and vegetables reduce the risk of major chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancers. In the past three decades, changes in the eating and exercise habits of children have contributed to the dramatic rise in childhood obesity. Overweight children are at risk for serious health problems like Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol ‐ all once considered exclusively adult diseases. Risk factors present in childhood can lead to serious adult medical conditions like heart disease, heart failure and stroke. Lifestyle and nutritional interventions may address the underlying causes of chronic disease, which help to avoid costly medical interventions.
